In support of our work for achievement of it's main objectives, the TSPCA is involved in the in the following current projects - some up-to-date news of which follows in our 'Topical Issues' section.
   
1.

School Education Programmes - to foster in children at elementary school level, an understanding of the value of animal life, and a sense of kindness and compassion to animals.

   
   
 
2.

Operation of a Mobile Clinic - to assist with control and population growth problems associated with stray dogs and cats - the clinic being equipped with facilities for vaccination and neutering programmes.

   
   
 
3.

Animal Care Manuals - development of a series of easy to understand booklets, designed to provide accurate help and assistance, in appropriate choice care of pets.

   
   
 
4.

Fostering and 'Rehoming' Programmes - a centralised network project, to organise temporary shelter and find new homes for abandoned or unwanted animals - particularly dogs and cats - from people who have too many, or can no longer care for them, with suitable future owners.

   
   
 
5.

Animal Protection Legislation - the development in coordination with Government and other interested bodies, of recommendations for new and improved animal protective legislation.

   
   
 
6.

TSPCA Awards - a scheme to provide recognition and support to outstanding individuals or organisations, with commendable involvement in animal welfare, or support to the TSPCA.

   
   
 
7.

'White Paper' Reports - the development and appropriate publication of research into various aspects of animal cruelty in Thailand - an initiative to be supported by TSPCA's 'Welfarewatch' programme.

   
   
 
8.

Networking Activities - development of productive working relationships in support of TSPCA objectives and ongoing projects with other animal welfare groups in Thailand and internationally.
