Mr.Edwin J.Wiek, Director of Wildlife Friends of Thailand (second from left) and Mr.Simon Purser, Manager of Forest Restoration / Wildlife Rehabilitation (second from right) paid their visit to TSPCA to meet with Secretary – General Sawan Sangbunlung. Also, their visit is to discuss in more details the issue relating to the planned launch of TSPCA’s Zoo Certification Programme to which Mr.Edwin was invited as a member of Steering Committee. He was also assigned by the meeting to present to the next committee meeting his ideas, experiences and lessons learned on the issue, based on applicable approaches like Zoocheck, WAZA etc. so that the model could be applied effectively in the year – long campaign.
